  • Hi, I just wanna ask about my brother's status as a derivative beneficiaries of my mother's petitions. Here's what happened. My mother's priority date is february 19, 1991 and got approved march of the same year. Just last october 2010 the priority date became current, my auntie whom the petitioner hired an attorney to help her about documentation and all other stuff for that matter. My auntie were able to pay visa fees before the retrogression happened last january 2011. My brother back then was only 18 years old. After 4 years the priority date became current again, but my brother is now 22 years old. The attorney told my auntie that my brother couldn't join my parents, since he's already 22. Is this true? Because I got to see a memo on the USCIS website that paying the visa fees could satisfy the "SOUGHT TO ACQUIRE" for CSPA? Am I right? If we would base it on the memo, we were able to sought to acquire last 2010 before retroregression happened. Please enlighten us as we are really confused of what's happening. Thanks. Hoping for your immediate response.

  • Dear Sir/Madam;

    Good day! My daughter and her husband has job contract letter to Holiday Inn Hotel in Bahamas, 1st week of June, since there's No straight flight from MNL to Bahamas, do they need to apply for C-1 Visa (Transit Visa) as layover or stop over at US airports? If so? how would they apply here for C-1 Visa? Thanks much!

  • Hi,

    I am one of those children who has been abandoned by my father residing in the US. I just want to ask atleast one bit information on what to do. He has been in California for almost nine years now, I am the eldest among the 5 yet I haven't been to college because of his lacking of aupport and communication with us. He abandoned us 3-4 years ago and we struggle to live for those years of our lives. He and my mother got married december 2007/2008 and we were born out of wed lock, all of us. He was able to have a vacation and marry our mom but when he got back to US he started to forget us all . Also he didn't acknowledge us as his children but he was able to put in his petition before he went to US that he is going to petition us when he got settled. This has been very bad for us. What can I do?
