  • Hi, I'm sorry to hear you are having problems. Have you tried updating the software in the handset to see if this helps?

    - Aimee.

  • Not yet. I went to NTT DoCoMo shop where I bought the phone yesterday. DoCoMo staffs told me that there would not be any software update recently. But, I guess they were talking about there would not any software update if they just sold it.

HTC magic is my first Android phone. I think it is good. Then I got Xperia which is the first sony phone you released to Japan market. It's awesome! So I bought two Xperia Arc phones. One is my wife as a present and one for me. Unfortunately, I am very unhappy that Sony fails to me. You have big screen. You have good design. Why can't you make it more stable?

  • I suggest that you try to reinstall the phone software using Update Service.

    www.sonyericsson.com/updateservice

And if problem still remains it needs to be checked by a repair tech at a repair center. For more info about local repair centers you can contact your local support team.

  • how connect to bluetooth xperia arc??????????

  • hii i bought xperia arc last week...my bluetooth is not even searching the devices...i cant transfer my files with its bluetooth...plz help asap

  • mayb its hidden..

  • hw to sort it out...hw to unhide it..

  • When you activate Bluetooth at Settings > Wireless & networks > Bluetooth settings, you will have to tap on Discoverable if you want other devices to find it.

You can also trigger a manual scan for new devices by tapping on Scan for devices. This can only be done when Bluetooth is active.

    -Markus

  • i already tried ur above method...all in vain...it shows the bluetooth symbol on...but its not scanning the devices...

    plz advice soon....thank you

  • My bluetooth jabra headphone device not play song for xperia arc. My english is so week

  • Hehehehe

  • @Sunil,

Try to restart the phone and see if it helps. Also, turn off WiFi if it's on just to see if it helps.

    @Juned,

Are you sure this headset is a stereo headset?

    -Markus

  • hey markus...i tried it after restarting also..but still its not working...plz advice

  • no

  • my bluetooth headset is jabra BT2080.

  • @Sunil If you are using the phone to scan for devices, are you sure the OTHER devices are in discoverable mode also? A Sony Ericsson headset (for example) must be put into a special "pairing mode" to be found. Computers and other phones may also require they be in this mode.

@Juned If it's not a BT headset with stereo headphones, it likely will not work to play music from a Sony Ericsson phone.

    -Jeff

  • hii jeff...i already tried ur above solution also...i switch on both phones bluetooth in discoverable mode but still not connected...phone is working good except its bluetooth...around 15 days i bought it from singapore..and nw i have come to india...and unfortunately i dont have international wartanty...so plz help.

  • I'm sorry to hear that. Have you tried repairing the software in the handset? This can be done while the handset remains completely powered off - Aimee.

  • How can you repair the software in the handset while it's completely powered off?
