  • I have a similar problem

I did not update but tried 2 times

followed the instructions and interrupted instalationen and

Now I can not start your phone

  • Hi Guys,

Please try removing the SIM card from the phone and connect the phone to charger. Once the red light appears, disconnect the phone from the charger 2 or 3 times, then connect it once more and charge the phone for about 30 minutes, after which time, you will press and hold Power button+volume up at the same time for 5 seconds. Let us know how it goes from there.

  • I got a life on my phone thanks

  • Dear Sony mobile,

I have the same problem so I just tried what you said, I removed my SIM card from the phone, then I connected the phone to the charger. Unfortunately, there is no red light ... how long should I wait for it ? Thx for you help,

    Isa from France

  • Hi Albatorisa,

It really depends on how charged the phone was before it turned off. It may take up to 15 minutes sometimes for the red light to come on.

    -Annie

  • It was charged around 20 % ... I did nothing special just before ; I remember I was on Facebook, I sent a private message : then I checked my phone 15 min later, & it was turned off, & impossible to turn in / okay, I leave my phone like that for another 30 min ...

  • Leave the phone connected to the charger for over two hours then attempt to power the phone on after this. Please do this with a mains/wall charger.

Let us know how you get on.

  • I also have the same problem, I updated the software of my Sony Live Walkman. I turned on my bluetooth and then the phone suddenly switched off.

now its not switching on again, it repeatedly keeps on rebooting. Very rarely I can see my home screen for a second or so and then again reboots.
