What is the best way to get rid of the H Pylori bacteria in the stomach?

  • I was given antibiotics but I am worried about the side effects and possibly developing an allergy to amoxicillin. I don't know what to do, but i don't think theres any other way to get rid of it.

  • Grapefruit seed extract will get rid of it. Read here www.pureliquidgold.com

You can get it at www.vitaminshoppe.com

I take 2 tablets three times a day at onset of symptoms.

  • Broccoli Sprouts should do it. My daughter who has autism was participating in a secretin study about 10 years ago. Preliminary testing showed she had h. pylori, and that it had to be treated before continuing in the study. I did not want to give her anitbiotics. However, the nurse practitioner told me about broccoli sprouts. I don't remember the exact dosage, but I think I remember giving her 1/4 of the package daily. To save money, you can make your own sprouts.

  • Did the broccoli sprouts get rid of the h- pylori or did it make her just feel better. Im having horrible acid probelms to and really stressed im wondering if its from the h pylori also.

  • It got rid of the h. pylori.

I also study Traditional Chinese Medicine. Acid problems are called "stomach fire" For Excessive stomach fire avoid fried foods, heated or poor quality vegetable oils, red meat, coffee, hot spices, alcohol, excessive salt, vinegar, citrus fruits, plums. To heal inflammed digestive tissues eat soothing mucilaginous foods like oats, barley (unless gluten intolerant) and rice made into soups or congees (cooked with water at a ratio of 4-8 times the amount of water to grain. All foods should be well cooked soft, and easy to digest. Herbal teas: licorice root, slippery elm, marshmallow root, red raspberry leaf, flax seed (place 1/4 c. flax seeds in one qt. warm water for 8 hrs. and then strain. Do not heat up or cook flax seeds), and chamomille. Food allergies need to be considered with acid reflus.

  • The best way is for your own immune system to recognise and fight the bacteria. One way to boost your immune system is with transfer factor, a natural product with no toxicity. It is made by the immune system for our immune system. Transfer factor Plus, which is listed in the Physician's Desk Reference, raises our natural killer cell activity by 437%. Antibiotic has too many side effects and will kill all your other good bacteria in your gastrointestinal tract.

Please see www.avis.my4life.com. View the videos to understand what transfer factor is.

  • I know that bee propolis is very good for the immunie system to

  • As we age, we produce less and less of HCL or hydrochloric acid, which is used in digestion.

It is not the excess production of HCl that causes heartburn or acid indigestion. If your GI tract (gastrointestinal) is slow or sluggish, food can sit there and ferment. This fermentation process gives off another type of acid, which is the culprit of your symptoms. Excess or this acid can eventually reduce the mucus which lines your stomache or duodenum (first portion of small intestine after food leaves the stomach) and cause the tender tissue to become exposed, and then bleed. (ulcer)

H Pylori is a bacteria which causes ulcers too. If you are just treating your symptoms when they start, until they go away, you are not helping yourself. What needs to be done is to figure out what is causing it in the first place. And the answer is most likely Nutrition- related and you need to pinpoint where your deficiency or excess is in your diet, so you can prevent it in the future.

I do not have a lot of 'natural' experience in ridding the body of H. Pylori. I do know that the antibiotics for it work.

Probiotics can help your immune system. Have a container of yogurt every day to help your body's digestion work better for you by helping out your immune system. I have read that yogurt can help to prevent colds.

Have you had side effects from antibiotics? Yogurt cultures will help to add good bacteria back into your gut. Do you know what causes you to have 'bath room issues' (diarrhea) when you take antibiotics? We have naturally occurring bacteria in our intestines and one in particular, E. Coli, is partly responsible for helping your body form solid stools. Antibiotics wipe out this bacteria and it's ability to do it's job.

When your immune system is very low and you are on antibiotics for an extended time (longer than 10 days) there are other bacteria which, normally present in small amounts, now have the ability to run around and take over. (Imagine a group of kids on a tour of a candy shop or chocolate factory, and the adult supervision has left the building!) when your body is in balance, these bacteria are usually in check. When the body gets out of balance, this is when you may hear the term "super-infection" such as 'thrush' (oral yeast) or candidas albicans (yeast infection women get vaginally) and another longer duration infection of the GI tract, called Clostridium Difficile Toxin, or C-Diff for short. (C Diff is very contagious and usually requires another drug Flagyl/Metronidiazole, to treat the over growth of a yeast.)

(If you've had this, you will remember it by the way it looks and smells.)

And, getting off on another tangent, the loose or liquid stools, also carry away a very important electrolyte, potassium. Our muscles need a certain amount of potassium to function properly. There can be deadly problems for our muscles, especially for the HEART muscle, if potassium goes too low. (Vomiting also causes a loss of potassium.)

We also lose sodium as well. Sodium is salt. Salt is a water (or fluid) lover. Low sodium=low fluids=dehydration.

And one last tangent....dehydration has the potentional to cause other problems (mental status changes) and infections too, if not corrected. In the elderly population especially, dehydration can lead to UTI's (urinary tract infections.), skin problems...dare I continue?

Bottom line, our body's were designed to work with nature and eat what naturally occurs in nature. All of these processed foods, additives, sweetener substitutes, etc. stress out of bodies by making them go crazy trying to identify the foreign body and what it should do with it now that it is here.

It's late, and I need to get some good sleep.

    And, yes, I'm a medical professional. ;-)

  • Manuka honey kills H. Pylori

  • is manuka honey better then bee propolis

  • Magestic Gum, kills it. ;-))

  • the best way to prevent and also treat this bacteria is beer. Seriously. it has a antibacterial properties that kills this bacteria. So have a little every day...

  • i have been taking a product called candicin it a mixture of oils of oregano wormwood ginger clove and evening primose but still not feeling better... i might just go and take the antibiotics

  • Dr. Richard Becker from Your Health says that Mastic Gum is very effective for H.Pylori.

  • We are using mastic gum now to cure our son's h. pylori and it is working wonderfully, in one day his ulcer pains are gone and for the first time in years he is pooping normally ! I am highly impressed with the mastic gum !!
