    This is a family favorite!

    1-2 pounds frozen chicken breasts

2 (10 oz) cans of cream of chicken soup

    1/2-1 cup milk

    3 slices American cheese

    salt & pepper to taste

    a pinch of garlic powder

Mix soup & milk togther in Crock pot. (I usually just fill 1 of the empty soup cans 2/3 full of milk) Add salt, pepper & garlic powder. Place Frozen chicken on top. Lay the cheese slices over chicken. Cook on High 4 hours Low 6-8. This is great served over mashed potatoes, rice, or pasta. I usually throw it in the crock pot before church & its ready when we get home.

No it is 1/2 C to 1 C. depending on how thin or thick you will want it. You can always add more milk towards the end if it seems to thick. My husband likes it the consistency of gravy.. Hope you enjoy :)

So, the mushroom turned out really good!!!! I even added a can of progressive portabello mushroom soup and with that you prob don't need much milk if any at all! My hubby is not a rice fan, but thought it was great.
